zerizum 0
i dont see what everyone has against this movie.. almost all of my friends say it sucked. and personnally it was one of my favorite movies of all times.. also was pissing me off that everyone was trying to compare it to blair witch. this movie was completely and utterly fucking different than the blair witch. Guest wuxanaXan
now that i found the topic on giant monster attacks while looking for info on cloverfield i found something about an oil rig sinking in the middle of the atlantic ocean did anybody else find this? if you look for cloverfield on google, i think you'll be given a few links on that on the first page the thing is they didnt give enough info about it the people who escaped in the helicopter are " missing?" which i found really bizarre but there wasnt anything saying that it wasnt real? lol so i dont know then i found the word "fictional" lol got you just kidding guys :] i actually havent watched the movie yet
Griever 0
I'm trying not to read all the responses 'cause I haven't seen it yet and my film student friend hyped the shit out of it, but I had heard all this from other people right after it premiered. "Trying too hard to be edgy" someone said. I'll try to keep an open mind, but I was kinda banking on that.
Zuwamba 0
i liked it alot and thought it was rather powerful. i felt it was a little more personal seeing the group of friends traveling trying to survive together. could you imagine seeing one of your close friends bleed from the eyes and have their head explode? the "she's bit!" scene was absolute madness to me. under_the_influence 0
I'm just gonna say that I loved this movie. I thought it did a great job of emersing you into the story. It had a good plot. I don't see how you all could have hated this movie. I really enjoyed the part right before they go into the subway and the marines charge down the street and start blasting the monster with RPG's and high calibul guns. It was awesome! The ONLY thing that this movie had in common with the blair witch project is that it was in a first person perspective. That's it. Blair Watch most definitely sucked! I thought this movie was excellent. Way better than godzilla! I suppose you all thought that Quarantine sucked as well for the same lame reasons.
Tain 0
honestly, dont base your view on this movie on that, its a condition that a few people have, just like the seisure warnings on most video games, but as one of the people who weren't nauseous from this movie, i really did enjoy it.. the first time anyways, but the second time around it was very boring, and because of the camera view they used, not worth watching, but it was overall a great movie, just not one that you would buy, but i found it well worth the movie tickets
Selryam 0
Great movie! Especially it being in 1st person view. That's some crazy cool and sad stuff. When the girl got bit and she blew up in the "hospital" omg, that was insane. Just constant screaming. At the end of the movie, they were warned. Surprise NASA/airforce didn't see it coming down from the sky. Cloverfield is a must see movie. I give it 5/5.
stylestep 0
Iam a huge gamer and i love FPS's so the view doesnt bother me at all in fact i loved it. I wish more movies were made like this where its told from a first person view as if you were in the actual movie. Movie rocked, but if it made ya sick then i understand why ya didnt like. I also saw this for free too though. If i had payed 12 bucks i may have been a bit more biased.
MadRaverRai 2
Did not make me nauseous one bit and I liked it. Not one of the greatest movies I've ever seen, but still enjoyable.
