Player Likenesses - Classic teams have been a part of 2K since. There have been a few issues with ez2kmt classic teams in the past, licensing of player likenesses is still an issue. NBA 2K must pay a cost to each player when an individual retires to allow them to continue to play in the game.

Many players do not want their image to be used for the purpose of playing. 2K has never reached acceptable financial terms with any of the players. This means that classic teams generally lack the necessary pieces that make them unique.

The Seven Seconds or Fewer Suns are the ideal examples of completeness. Joe Johnson is not on this team. Johnson was a crucial scoring option for Phoenix and averaged 17.1 points per game in the Suns. Johnson's absence makes it hard to select the Suns when playing online in competitive games.

The Phoenix Suns in 1993 made the NBA Finals behind Charles Barkley's efforts. That team was excellent and featured Charles Barkley in the prime of his career. The '93 Suns do not play even in the game because 2K has no desire to compete with Barkley's offer.

2K Sports needs to reach financial agreements with players who have retired in order to get their similarity to this game. This will complete the classic teams and enable 2K Sports to Buy NBA 2K MT Coins add new outstanding units into the game.
