cynicdave 37
Hey everyone! I created this for all the old school GSC members. I'm super curious as to what everyone is doing these days. How have you been enjoying your life, and what kind of memories does GS.C bring you, and what did it do for you?
Tico 24
Hi all, I'm busy with finishing up my studies, coaching rowing crews and started doing MMA. Other than that, pretty much just busy living my life and not much else. It's been ages since I've been online, but I have been doing some stringing (with the duds from years ago) from time to time over the years. Cheers Edited October 3, 2020 by Tico

cynicdave 37
It looks like a lot of people who had a "yahoo" email address doesn't work anymore. if you guys can get into contact with other OG's that would make it awesome. As for me, I just got super focused on very early stage startups. It was pretty rough. But rewarding.
Oracle 4
Hey Dave! It's been ages man. When I found GSC back in the early 2000s, it quickly became one of the best times of my life. I was already friends with Steve, Andy, and Jin, but we got to meet Paul, Rai,,, Wes, and probably like 40-50 more people from up and down the East Coast. It gave the 4 of us a group of people to hang out with and meet up at clubs, raves and festivals. Truly some of the best experiences of my life, so thanks for setting this up way back when.
Adrillf 41
GSC! Wow, this was a happy email to see in my inbox. I'm glad to see you all around. As for me, I got my MFA in creative writing, was working as an English professor at a few universities. My favorite papers/arguments with students have come down to them trying to teach their stuffy professor about EDM or raves. It's always fun to see their reactions to old GSC videos. Recently I have taken a small break for some family reasons and illnesses (all the old people got all of the cancers), and I have been working in an digital marketing firm as a content writer/content editor/copy editor. All of that time as a post whore cranking out thousands of words of posts daily is now what I get paid to do. 😀 I'm married, I have a lovely 7 year old daughter, and I have a pair of sock poi on my bookshelf ready to spin any time I need to clear my head.

Jay 2
Had to go digging around and found I still had the DVD. Have so many memories from this place. Feels like a lifetime ago. Basically a dumb kid who ran around meeting random people who Danced and gave light shows. I basically fell into the fire scene around 2010. I still occasionally spin stuff on insta. Currently about to return to university for graduate school so doubt I’ll have much free time. Haven’t even gone to a rave in like 8 years. Randomly looked up the first EDC I went to in like 04 or 05 and saw a bunch of GSC videos. Pretty crazy.

Raver Girl 3
Hey Everyone, it's Ravergirl. Aka Kristen. Anyways let's see. I kinda stopped glowsticking for a while after moving back to San Diego. Right now, I work as QA for a video game company making some video games a ton of people play. For a while I worked with David Jaffe and cut video game trailers for a game that totally flopped called Drawn to Death. It was a super fun project to work on. I used to stream and make graphics for a stream team and it was a lot of fun. But the internet gets dramatic and after getting divorced I decided to hide away on social media. Though my demo reel was pretty fun. I'm currently learning Maya to try to get a job as a character rigger. It's a job where you create the bones/joints of characters and props for the animators to use when animating. I tried to learn to DJ, so I did some twitch streams of my DJing. Also I have some of my mixes here. I was spinning electroswing, synthwave/80's and trap. (A little bit of everything) https://timetravelradio.tumblr.com/ At one point I got married, then quickly realized I was unhappy, so I got divorced 3 years later. Realized I wasn't straight, came out to my family who embraced me whole heartedly (Thank God) Now I have a super cool girlfriend. Then I saw Dave posted some cool stuff about GS.C being alive again on facebook. I miss you guys. I do have some glowsticks if we gonna do a reunion video. I miss you all. -Kristen aka RG

Gauge Prower 0
Hey would you look at that, my login still works! I randomly came across some of my old Glowstringing videos on an old hard drive and wondered if this site survived time or if it just came to a halt. Looks like GS.C lives on. Well, I've learned a lot, lived a lot, and grown a lot since I was last here around 13 years ago. I haven't picked up strings since then, I wonder how rusty I would be... I'm doing Sysadmin work, and doing some community/social work and technical support for the NZXT gaming computer company. Also moderating in their Discord of over 100,000 people at the time of this writing. (It looks like Discord is the new replacement for Forums). For the most part I'm still the same fun quirky nerd I used to be, hitting up music festivals and other large events until Covid hit. I've met a lot of people along the way and developed a large respect for all walks of life, and basically vibe with almost anybody. For whomever comes across this message, I hope your life has been well, and I wish you all prosperity and good health. ❤️
Noqturnal 35
Hey GSC family. These days I am doing Proactive IT Support and NOC work for a local MSP company. Still sticking and stringing. Just rented a new place with giant mirrors in the bedroom. Perfect for practicing glowsticking and card/coin magic! Glad to hear people are doing well and I'm happy to see the site is still kickin' I've joined the discord server linked on the home page and I hope to see you guys in there! Revive the days of tinychat but in Discord!
