Last Singularity 1
Dang, that is one of the advantages of living in different places around the world. Sometimes, I wished that I lived in Europe so that I automatically know like four languages. I speak English, Mandarin and...well, French does not count because I took it in high school and my listening comprehension is crap, haha.

soumam 0
English Bengali - i can't read or write it but i can understand and speak well enough to have conversations. People tell me my Bengali is pretty good for an indian living in america. French - took 4 years in highschool but i still suck Japanese - took 2 years in college so i basically speak at the level of a 3 year old. except the 3 year old surely knows more than i do. bitsmart 0
I speak english fluently, of course. I've forgotten most of my spanish vocab since school, so all I remember is basic conversational, i.e. I could find my way around a city in Mexico but I couldn't tell a complicated story. My mother was a sign language interpreter for a couple decades, so I learned to fingerspell and do a couple silly little signs. My brother, however, when he learned spanish in school he used it every chance he got so it stayed fresh. Plus, he's lived and worked in Framingham, MA (little Brazil) for years, so he speaks portuguese as well. Many brazilians there are astounded when he responds to them and asks them questions. Plus, my father said he would take my brother on a trip to Japan when he completes college, so he'll probably start learning Japanese very soon.

Lin-Z 0
^ 1337 speak counts; it has some distinct grammatical conventions and phonetic rules. I guess we could say it's a dialect of english, sort of

Darkkstarr 0
English Mandarin Taiwanese (but is there a written form?) and really crappy Spanish (which i'm failing and confusing with French) lol my spanish teacher: como estas tu? me: je suis bien =P
Lin-Z 0
it's really hard not to confuse spanish and french. I speak both and I usually don't even realize that I'm reading/speaking one or the other. It's pretty bad.
