The last movie you watched?

Recommended Posts

Saw the screener of Drag Me to Hell. I was on a "okay movie" streak previously "The unborn/punsiher war zone", but i got a free pass to see this one. I say its worth the money. Plus its not a remake!

Christine Brown (Lohman) is a hard-working bank loan officer with a good life. With a promotion up in the air between her and another employee her boss says she needs to demonstrate she can make the hard calls. When Mrs. Ganush, an elderly Slavic woman, ask for a second extension on her mortgage Christine denies her in an attempt to prove herself. In desperation, Ganush prostrates herself before Christine, begging and kissing the hem of her skirt. As a crowd of customers and employees gathers, Christine panics and shoves the woman away, gravely insulting her. That night, Ganush, enraged and humiliated, exacts revenge by placing a curse upon Christine. Christine learns from a psychic that she is to be tortured for three days by a Lamia before being dragged to hell to burn for eternity.

edit: finished watching Religuous. pretty decent movie, but it seemed that most of it (actually almost all of it) was watching bill maher argue with people that shouldn't be answering questions.

As for new movies:

S. Darko

- HINT: Watch it without considering it related to Donnie Darko, but rather a movie on it's own. This way it becomes somewhat decent.

As for old movies:

One Perfect Day

- Highly recommended movie about a Trance Vocalist and Producer/DJ trying to break into the Australian party scene whilst becoming intertwined in each other's drama.

I went to the drive-in theater with my little sisters the other day. Saw Night at the Museum 2 and Dance Flick. Oh God. Dance Flick was just awful. I thought that it would be easy to make a great parody movie out of dance movies BUT MAN WAS I WRONG. It had it's moments, but geez. Night at the Museum 2 was pretty good, what with it being a kid's movie and all.
