I haven't done or seen much of this, but I have a piece with a lil panda toy on it. They just put a hole through it. :P For softer objects like stuffed animals I imagine a sewing needle would work too.

It depends a lot on what the toy is like. A group of friends and myself make a lott of kandi and basically you guess and tests a lot.

With stuffed animals, origami things, rubbery toys like bath toys, and anything soft like that a large sewing needle is super useful. One of my friends had a tiny empty juice box with elmo on it that she stabed holes into the sides with like one of those nut things (idk if anyone will know what i'm talking about lol) and made a necklace then glued the straw in the top.

If you can't put a hole through it, then you could wrap it with strong bead string and super glue it just a little so you know it won't come off. If you don't want to see the string or wrapping just isn't working you could glue it to like a button or something similar, but make sure you string the button on first so that when the toy is on it won't get in the way of stringing it to your kandi.

If its kinda big, and gluing it to just one button makes it flop or hang weird you could try glueing it to two buttons. For example if its for a braclette and you want to put like an animal thing about the size of a smallish stuffed animal, glue one button to the back of the head and another to the back bottom area then make two bracletts instead of one.

If you're trying to make a kandi necklace, make sure your toy isn't too heavy and/or your string isn't very streatchy because the toy will pull the string down if its streatchy and it will bounce funny and it could break.

Basically any way that comes to mind could work, and if it doesn't work just take the kandi apart and try again. I hope I've helped :)
