Witch Software?

Hey guys I am starting to DJ but I got the wrong thing. I got a Mixer, But I wanted to make the beats frist, not play them. So if any body has a software where you can make the beats please let me know. :thumbup:

Making beats? or making songs?

 

DJing, or composing, or producing?

 

What kind of mixer? how many channels? sends? auxes?

 

You gotta be a lot more precise =/

I'm getting torq today for DJing....

 

When you originally said "witch" software I though this was some CRAZY AWESOME NEW SOFTWARE lol but it ended up being a typo.

I use Reason 5. It's pretty good, but it takes a lot of getting used to. And if you aren't that familiar with sound mechanics and such, it would be extremely confusing.

I can't believe nobody listed Logic Pro.....Logic takes the cake IMO. Even though Ive only ever used FL Studio, Reason and Logic. Logic is by far best and easiest to get a hold of. But you do also need a Mac, but Mac is boss so why buy a PC?
