As we are all aware, EDC is only 25 days away! This means we should start gathering materials and supplies for the subsequent activities such as the Pre Meet-up and Ultra Circle.

If you can donate any dollar amount or any amount of Ultras to be put towards the Ultra Circle, let us know! Ultra Circles in the past have been largely organized by Dave with donations and help from other members. Let's not make this one rely solely on one person, it is a community effort! rollwink.gif

On another note, we also need people to bring supplies to the Pre EDC Meet-up! Once again, if you can donate anything (money or supplies/food), then that would be great. =D

I can't wait to see you all that weekend. Man, it's been way too long. sm_bigeek.gif

We have a significant amount of ultras right now. But we would like to have 2-3 main stages this year but brighter than last year. This year we will go back to basics and crack mostly all orange ultras. I also ordered 2 additional vinyl banners that we will use to protect the circle.

if you don't want to donate actual ultras you can send paypal money to admin@glowsticking.com

As in more than one stage of cracking ultras in unison. If you've been to the past two EDC Ultra Circles, Orange Ultras were cracked first, then a different color was cracked at a later point in time to keep the vibe going.

There will still only be one Ultra Circle at EDC.

As more of a discussion point, what does should a new one to the EDC Ultra Circle expect? I've seen Guinto's video a few times now, but I doubt this gives it justice. And how does one "Jump In?"

same as any regular circle,

tap the person in on the shoulder
go in when their sticks are dying down
go in when you see them using their "safe" combo again

usually a staff member will direct members in and out because there's so many people who want to go in and such.

Here's a video of the 2005 one. The quality isn't too great cause good cameras aren't aloud in but here's the google video of it.

There are more videos in the media center.

If I go, I'd be happy to donate Ultras and other toys as needed =D

I'll know for sure in the next week or so whether I am going or not.

^^im not sure why it would be important if they were hex or not.
i dont remember seeing any hex sticks in the circle last year

and in case you may not know you provide your own sticks for when you go into the circle
