14 posts in this topic

First off i gotta say, no i'm not in the army. Second off i gotta say, mad respect for the peope in the army. But i have some questions

I've seen alot of pictures of soldier's wearing mask.

1)Do some of them really wear mask

2)why, and

3)are they all ways skulls ?

5) can you take you're own

4) do they make good gifts for people who are already in the armed forces/ joining the armed forces ?

... Err... example pictures

1. No idea

2. Because it's better than nothing at all.

3. Because it's more intimidating

4. That's a judgement call, it's neutral imo.

5. Why wouldn't you be able to?

Anything over the face is better than nothing in a Sandstorm, My guess is that one soldier bought a facemask and the others decided to play copycat after they realized that it helps a hell of a lot in the desert environment.

I wonder how the CO's felt about it though. I'm sure they could have Requestioned Goggles or something of the like for the troops.

You might be better off just asking for unlimited ammo, friendlyfire off and God-mode.

basicly its all been covered, keeps you face "clean", looks cool, and out there is basicly anything goes, just as long as it aint stupid or flashy

I dont think they would let them get away with running around wearing the skull version. Ive heard they have gotten a lot more strict about following the regulations and everything since the wars first started.

they can be used for a variety of things..

if you SUCK at putting on face paint, for one...it helps with instant cover/concealment depending on the mask you use.

the skull type ones like above are meant for nothing more than to look like a badass. nothing more.

they kinda help with dirt/cleanliness but not totally.

but some are actually usefull and keep you warm..like one of the ones i posted up above.

but, just take the time and learn how to apply your facepaint..like this dude:

and most of these types of masks were made immensely popular from the character "Ghost" from the Call of Duty games:
