retire at at 57+

basicly, congress wants to change the rules so the minimum for retirement is 57+

even if you do a full 30 years in.

 

whoo hoo so i can retire at 38 and still not even get paid for another 20 years, there goes most of the military active and reserves if this gets passed

if that was passed it would only effect those that joined after its passing. those of us that joined before would still be able to retire in 20

Great, some more bullshit for those who serve, concocted by those that never have.

Exactly.

 

The people that hurt normal military members are the O6+ who are being hired by companies they suck off while in service after they get out and by congressmen who love to screw over the military as much as possible.

Anybody who is crazy enough to put in 20+ years deserves that retirement pay.

Those are the lifers. They usually come from military families to begin with I think.

I think this would greatly effect the decision I make on if I should re-enlist or not.
