This post that your about to read is about one of the most effective ways that you can create your own style (IMO). When practicing/coming up with new traces and stuff (which ties in with the General Tips on Creativity point) go slowly so your muscles "remember". The more you repeat it, the better, smoother and faster you will be able to go. Yes, it is a pain in the ass to do it over and over, but the more you do it, the better it is going to look.
