Freehand: Kicks/Taps

Kicking and taps is another visually stimulating move that provides dynamicism to your style.

Kicks

Kicking is the act of kicking the glowstick. There are many many different ways of kicking a glowstick. You can kick it as you would a soccer ball, kick it sideways, kick it directly in front, and you can even kick it with a jester kick (like in hackysacking), or from the back.

In any case, the object is to tap the glowstick back up directly above in a way very similar to hacksacking.

Two versions are popular, and that is the inwards kick, which is (if you kick with your right) kicking it with a right-to-left motion, eventually with the side of your shoe (skater shoes help, as they have a flat side), and the outwards side kick, going from left-to-right. In any case, dropping the glowstick with a helicopter throw will make things easier.

Taps/Other

Other taps that are related to the kick is the knee kick, the elbow tap, the hand tap, the arm tap, and any other body part you can think of.
